Meet the Doctor
Our team is led by Medical Director Dennis González Betancourt, MD, a Florida-licensed Medical Doctor and Obesity Medicine specialist passionate about helping individuals improve their health and well-being.
After graduating high school, he attended UCLA as an undergraduate, where he excelled as an all-American NCAA volleyball champion. His passion for exercise, diet, medicine, and behavioral health influenced his decision to pursue a medical career. In 2017, he graduated from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and completed his Residency training at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. González Betancourt has since dedicated his career to helping others live healthy lives. Now residing in the South Miami area with his wife and two children, he enjoys spending his spare time on the beach or enjoying some of the many cultural events that Miami has to offer.
